Wedding Favors

To try to be green and with the hopes of providing a wedding favor that wouldn't be forgotten, we thought of giving everyone reusable grocery bags!  Tianyi used her superb creativity and designed a wonderful logo for us!  =)

But I was sort of retarded and changed the color at the last minute and they ended up more fuchsia than dark purple.  :(  I was soooo bummed about it, but it was too late to change the color.  :(

We decided to put 2 water bottles into each bag (b/c we always want water when we leave a wedding, esp after drinking)!!

And b/c my dad has instilled in me how important it is to eat fruit after dinner (to help w/ digestion), we decided to stick 2 Fuji apples into each bag!  That way, if ppl needed late night snacks (aside from the ice cream sandwiches, cheeseburgers, mushroom burgers and fries that we provided at the wedding), they would have apples to snack on during their drive home!  =)

We did pairs of the water bottles and pairs of the apples.  In Mandarin, the word for happy, is doubled at a wedding for double happiness for the couple!  So, we did pairs of 2 different things (water bottles and apples) to symbolize double happiness for us!  =)

Hopefully everyone liked our wedding favors of double happiness and will use them when they go grocery shopping!!!  =)  Thanks Tianyi for designing the cutest bag logo and water labels for us!  WE LOVE THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
