Russ - The Mighty...

Bug Hunter!  What you say?  Well...let me tell you a story...

Once upon a time, there was a young little Russ, who aspired to be a mighty warrior.  As the young little Russ grew older, he found his true calling, bug hunting!  Yes, that's right!  Russ the mighty bug hunter!

One day, he met this girl who didn't particularly enjoy hunting bugs, but Russ LOVED bug hunting.  And that's how they knew they were meant to be.  After going out for a while, Russ and the girl decided to move into a place together.

When they first moved into their new place, they didn't have a fly swatter.  But Russ used his mighty bug hunting skills and managed to knock out many flies with the swish of a towel!  Luckily, the girl wasn't home to witness the bug hunting or else she would have put a stop to the towel swishing method and purchased a fly swatter!  But that was a blessing in disguise because the Mighty Bug Hunter needed to practice his skills!

Several flies later, a wedding b/t Russ and the girl, and a honeymoon trip to Turkey, the Mighty Bug Hunter was called back into action!  At their first hotel in Kusadasi, Turkey, there was a fly in the room!  It was an amazing young fly that kept buzzing around and driving the girl insane!  While the girl was in the shower, Russ, the Mighty Bug Hunter, used his flip flop and tried his best to hunt the fly!  Unfortunately (or fortunately), due to the youthfulness of the fly, Russ spent about 20 min chasing after it before the fly got tired and fatefully took a break from buzzing around.  That's when Russ, the Mighty Bug Hunter, went into action and got the fly!

Then when Russ and the girl got to Goreme, Turkey, they stayed in the cave hotel.  The girl, being a city girl, was soooo concerned about waking up to find herself covered in mosquito bites!  Because, if you think about it, Russ and the girl were staying in a CAVE!!  During the first 2 nights in the cave hotel, no mosquitos or bugs in sight!  But during their last night there (again while the girl was in the shower), Russ, the Mighty Bug Hunter, spotted a BIG mosquito.

Having just practiced his flip flop skills in Kusadasi, the Mighty Bug Hunter saw the mosquito near the ceiling on THE GIRL'S SIDE OF THE BED and saw an opportunity of a lifetime!  With a chuck of his flip flop right at the mosquito ON HER SIDE OF THE BED, the poor little mosquito had no chance!  The Mighty Bug Hunter wanted to make sure his flip flop skills actually worked and attempted to find the dead mosquito ON HER SIDE OF THE BED.  He searched and searched ON HER SIDE OF THE BED, but couldn't find the poor mosquito.

Of course, when the girl come out of the shower, she immediately noticed that something was amiss as the Mighty Bug Hunter was searching for something.  When she inquired, that's when she hears about The Mighty Bug Hunter's newest conquest!  Unfortunately, the poor little mosquito could not be found and Russ and the girl went to sleep with the hope that the poor little mosquito wouldn't wake up and decide to attack them (or the girl since it fell ON HER SIDE OF THE BED)!!!!

Once The Mighty Bug Hunter arrived in Istanbul, Russ was able to relax and retire his arsenal of bug-hunting weapons.  Thank goodness the Mighty Bug Hunter practiced his skills with a towel in the house before advancing to the flip flop technique!  Who knew that young little Russ, who aspired to be a mighty warrior would indeed become a Mighty Bug Hunter?!  Russ did, of course!  ;)
